What did you hire us for?
To do a re-org of our nonprofit website. We were happy with our appearance for the most part, but needed to improve navigation and add some new info-spaces.
Website upgrades. Redesign of our website navigation to improve user experience.
How was your experience?
Tyler helped us see our website through fresh eyes, and advised us on ways to significantly improve the navigation and working of the site. His deep experience with UX and web design enabled us to freshen the look without a major redesign. He also helped us reorganize our content to create a more intuitive user experience and a more logical flow through the site.
Communication was excellent. Tyler is a good listener, and took time to understand our organization and communications requirements before plowing into the work. He was able to explain his ideas when we were not quite sure what he was suggesting, and listened to us on the (very) few occasions when we disagreed. He was respectful of both our knowledge and our ignorance. He solved the easy issues quickly and the difficult ones with grace. His progress reports were useful and on time and he actually charged us less than his initial estimate!

Tyler made a sitemap of our websites architecture to help us plan the changes to navigation with the goal of visitors being able to find what they are looking for. Tyler not only made excellent suggestions and completed the upgrades, but he also left us with extensive notes/tutorial to allow us to make additional changes as needed on our own.
